Spurs are the other front runners and have also made it clear they want him. Arsene Wenger hopes to complete the deal by the end of the week although the Gunners are hoping to haggle the price down from the £17 million release clause in Cahill's contract. What a surprise that they want to ‘haggle it down’, if the Gunners are supposed to have this War Chest (very mystical no one ever sees it) why don’t they use it, I would hate to miss out on Cahill cause we could not find an extra 3 mill.
Arsenal are in the lead despite Spurs offering players as part of their deal. Spurs boss Red faced Harry seems to be failing in his attempt to hijack the deal as Cahill would love Champions league football next season. Oh poor Spurs after all that and I quote “we have made the quarters and you haven’t” crap, you are not even in the Champions league next season….nothing could make me happier (besides of course either Spurs or United going bankrupt, going into administration and getting relegated)…
This and the constant news of Samba are exactly what we at Arsenal need to shut those critics up and to patch up the holes at the back. I do love a bit of good news and with the constant Cesc rumors we need this….
Bring me Cahill
ReplyDeleteArsenal need to step up their game United have made 3 signings already
ReplyDeleteCahill would be a great signing! Him and Vermaelen would be unbeatable in defence.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the Daily Mirror, Gervinho and Samba may also be on their way!
