West Ham up 2-0 at half time and I was singing "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles", Super Super Parker and all that was shouting at the top of my lungs, ‘yes please’……but alas, enter Wayne ‘Shrek Rooney’ in 14 minutes he had a hat-trick and Man United finish it off 4-2, bloody United and their BMT, after all my faith I thought Arsenal had better win, but no no no, Arsenal had so many opportunities and could not even beat Blackburn at home. For all Van Persie’s and Nasri’s fancy tricks and great runs, it amounted to nothing. And did you see Almunia, I didn’t think he could get any worse, but he did, yes he did. He is about as solid as mash potato, and I think fans and players alike are more confident in Tiger Woods getting back together with his wife than in his goal keeping ability. A team that is chasing the title should have had a hunger to grind out a result. If Man United with players of half the talent is able to do it week in and week out, can no one see that there is something missing at Arsenal?
BMT, leadership and players who are older than 23 and younger than 30, come on Wenger how could Arsenal not take all the chances that they have had throughout the season to close the gap and actually be leading the title challenge. To be booed off by their own fans should say something about this season and how tired they are of seeing this happen, I know I am.
The Only hope now is that Arsenal have to win every single game (big ask of a team who has had 3 draws in a row to average sides) and United have to lose against Chelsea and the Gunners. Can this happen, I don’t know anymore, “keep the faith”, I don’t know how long I can keep saying that, even Moses had doubt and Arsene Wenger is no God.
